What we collect, and what we do with it.

The short version: we only collect what you type into a form, we use it to coordinate volunteers and send the emails you asked for, and we never sell it.

What the forms collect

  • Volunteer roster (/volunteer and the Lincoln page): your name, email, phone, city, availability, team size, church or organization, skills, equipment, an optional emergency contact, and any notes you add.
  • Future response team (homepage): your name, email, optional phone, region, availability, and the ways you can help. Ticking the consent box also signs you up for the email journey.
  • Church partnership (/partner): your name, email, church or organization, and your message.
  • The Response Brief (email signup boxes): your email address and, if you give it, your name.

The Church Readiness Check runs entirely in your browser. Your answers are not sent to us.

How it is used

  • To contact you about coordinated volunteer opportunities you signed up for.
  • To reply to partnership and contact requests.
  • To send The Response Brief: encouragement, recovery guides, and real updates. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.

We never sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.

Who else sees it

  • Relief partners, only if you agree.The volunteer roster has a checkbox asking whether we may share your contact details and skills with larger response organizations, such as Samaritan's Purse, Mennonite Disaster Service, or Team Rubicon, when they need local hands. Untick it and we won't.
  • The services that run the site. Form entries are stored in a Supabase database. Emails are sent through Resend. The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs.
  • Giving.Gifts are made on Charitable Impact's site, not ours. We never see your payment details. Charitable Impact's own privacy policy applies there.

Cookies and your browser

This site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. It stores two small things in your own browser: a note that you closed the email signup bar, so it stays closed, and an unsent draft of the volunteer roster form, so you don't lose what you typed. The draft is cleared when you submit. Clearing your browser's site data removes both.

Your choices

  • Unsubscribe in one click with the link at the bottom of any email, or email us and we will take you off the list.
  • See, correct, or delete what you sent us by emailing hello@thykingdom.net.
